Karabynovich’s work is a sound installation inspired from a Flemish Belgium pop song Goeiemorgen, morgen  ('Good morning, morning' in Dutch)  performed during Belgium Eurovision in 1971 which went viral on Ukrainian Tiktok in 2022 in the midst of the Russia occupation. Goei, when pronounced sounds like the Ukrainian swear word хуй (chuy) to express displeasure which translates into “fuck”. In his Хуеморген Nikolay explores the use of making fun of an almost disastrous situation can be a tool to resist and to survive.
